Established in July 2020, The Baking Party is a small, but sweet, family-owned business, based in New Malden, Kingston-Upon-Thames, UK. The Baking Party offers a range of services, such as baked-to-order celebration cakes, small cakes and tarts as part of local Farmers' Markets, postal brownie sharing boxes (UK-wide) and kids baking & decorating parties. The Baking Party is fully registered with Kingston Council as a food business.

My name is Barak. I'm a professional pastry chef living in New Malden, Kingston-upon-Thames. I moved to the UK in 2009 to pursue my career in patisserie. I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2010 and have worked for several years in leading London bakeries, such as Ottolenghi and Konditor & Cook, as a head pastry chef and as a production manager.
Over the past 3 years, I have been focusing on creating and testing my recipes, whilst developing my baking & decorating party classes for kids. I have established my company, The Baking Party, in 2020 and I am looking forward to sharing my vision and creations with you.
My vision
I love baking, teaching and cakes (who doesn't?), but mostly, I love to see people enjoying my cakes. I believe in high standards and aesthetics and I am proud to be using only high quality ingredients in my baking. I care about the environment, therefore, all the packaging materials used are environmentally-friendly and are either recyclable or degradable. I care about what I do and thrive to provide the best care to my customers.
